TITLE: Assistant Branch Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:
To manage all branch business and operational areas under the rules,regulations and guidelines of NDA and the company while ensuring theaccomplishment of goals and targets given by the Management.
JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:
SalesManagement
Reviewactual sales against targeted sales and plan for achieving theset target.
Attentivelydo stock checks for the fastest moving goods on the ERP.
Preparea Projection of product mix and stocks and then procure therequired goods from the Abacus Warehouse.
Preparea daily plan of activities.
Organizeand send deliveries of stock based on importance and urgency.
Weeklyreports on cash sales, credit sale, receipts and salesprojection.
Reviewactual sales against targeted sales and plan for achieving theset target or above.
ConductStock audits for the products planned in the weekly plan.
CustomerService
Makecalls to potential and existing clients to update them about ouroperations and services.
Prepareand visit top clients as per schedule.
Actas a representative for the company and provide excellentcustomer service in terms of supply of stock on receiving oforder, providing information on drugs, prices and customersupport.
Planning& Development
Promotebranch business development and seek to broaden customer base.
Assistwith implementing changes to established policy and procedureswithin the branch.
Participatein performance appraisals, promotions and compensation activitiesfor employees.
Developaction plans to enhance operations and optimize branch output.
Givesupport to the Regional Branch Manager in implementing businessdevelopment strategies.
Select,train and evaluate the branch staff to enhance individualproductivity and enable them to function according to jobdescription.
Planning& Report Organization
Preparedaily and weekly reports regarding cash sales, receipts,purchases and expenses.
Reviewactual sales against targeted sales and plan for achieving theset target or above.
Conductstock audits for the products in the weekly plan.
Preparemonthly reports i.e. monthly sales and receivables position.
Agreeon a day of stock taking and take part in the process ofInventory Management.
ConductQuarterly review of actual sales vs. budgeted sales.
Generateyear sales report.
Completepurchase analysis.
Preparebudgets for next year based on the products, customers,expenditure budgets and resource planning budgets.
MarketAnalysis
Giveyour expected targets for the next year to the Regional BranchManager.
Conductsurvey in the Pharma market to find out the current situation andmake recommendations accordingly.
Assesslocal market conditions and identify current and prospectivesales opportunities.
Monitorcompetitors, competing markets and provide reports on marketmovement and penetration.
Anyother Duties
CompleteStaff appraisal and forward to Head office for further steps.
Responsiblefor Human Resource relatedissues for the staff of the Branch.
Coordinatingwith Company Representatives/ Managers in matters relating topromotion and sales of respective products
Suggestingand Implementing strategies for increasing the sales volume ofthe branch – per involvement to Top Line.
Adhereto high ethical standards and comply with allregulations/applicable laws.
Performany other duties as assigned by Management.

MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelorof Pharmacy/Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of commerce/Bachelor ofBusiness Administration/Diploma in Pharmacy and/or Business relatedcourse.
MBA is an added advantage
2years of work experience in a relevant/ similar field
Experience in wholesale pharmacy is an added advantage
